Houseperson Aide- Memphis Marriott East- Ft-Flex

Responsibilities

• Clean guest hallways and corridors
• Remove trash from hallway trash cans, housekeeping carts, and guest rooms, then deposit in the trash dumpster
• Thoroughly vacuum guest hallways, elevators, carpet edges, and stairwells
• Thoroughly clean elevators
• Shampoo carpets and mop floors when needed
• Clean vending areas, including ice machines, candy machines, and soda machines
• Dust light fixtures in the hallways, fire extinguisher boxes, railings, etc.
• Remove soiled linen from housekeeping carts and transport to the laundry room using laundry carts
• Restock housekeeping carts with clean linen as needed by room attendants
• Collect dirty glasses from guest rooms and take to the dishwasher in the kitchen or housekeeping area for cleaning
• Restock clean glasses as needed
