Houseman/Steward (Hourly)

Responsibilities

• Perform light repairs, maintenance, cleaning, and other sidework as needed.
• Drive company vans/trucks to and from event sites safely and without issues.
• Prepare for Events:
  • Carefully gather the required event equipment listed on Equipment Pull Form(s), ensuring cleanliness and accurate counts.
  • Demonstrate logical decision-making skills when substituting or replacing equipment as needed.
  • Ensure all rented equipment is ready and accurate for the event.
• Event Support:
  • Safely load and unload equipment and other items specified in the Banquet Event Order(s).
  • Provide services during the event, which may include barback duties and other assigned tasks.
  • Maintain a congenial and cooperative attitude towards co-workers and guests throughout the event.
• Event Breakdown:
  • Efficiently break down the event, including packing, accounting for, and returning equipment to the warehouse or appropriate rental location.
  • Store equipment properly and ensure cleanliness.
