About The Role

The Houseman supports the overall cleanliness, organization, and day‑to‑day functioning of the property. This role works closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Front Desk teams to ensure guest areas, back‑of‑house spaces, and public zones are consistently clean, stocked, and welcoming. A great Houseman is proactive, detail‑oriented, and takes pride in creating a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and outdoor entryways
  • Support Room Attendants by delivering linens, removing trash, and restocking supplies
  • Assist with deep‑cleaning tasks such as carpet care, floor polishing, and high‑dusting
  • Respond promptly to guest and team requests for additional items or support
  • Ensure all storage closets and housekeeping areas remain organized and fully stocked
  • Transport soiled linens to designated areas and distribute clean linens as needed
  • Perform light maintenance tasks when appropriate (changing light bulbs, reporting issues, etc.)
  • Support event or operational setups by moving furniture, equipment, or supplies
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and property standards
  • Uphold brand presentation and guest‑first service at all times

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, orderly spaces
  • Reliable, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a service‑oriented mindset
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Working Conditions/Environment

  • May have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day
  • Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently
  • May have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
