About the role
Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Magnolia is taking applications for a Housekeeper.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms and baths to prevent infections and cross contamination
- Clean offices, sitting & eating areas
- Clean and service building areas according to established procedures
- Move furniture, equipment and supplies in and around facility
- Perform a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the facility in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition
- Coordinate safe transportation of hospitalized patients to and from their residences/appointments
- Coordinate meal pick up
- Transport patients to and from the facility site
- Assist in the overall day-to-day functioning of the program including aiding other staff in patient chart production and meal provision
- Communicate to staff any problematic or clinical issues that occur during supervision of or transportation of patients
Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Current Motor Vehicle License with clean MVR
- Minimum of 1-3 years housekeeping experience working in a hospital or nursing home environment
