About the role

Responsible for the overall guidance, implementation, corrective authority, and training of housekeepers and Floor Technicians as Industry and Department specific layout. Manage a staff between 12–23 direct reports, up to a full shift of 35 on weekends and off days or as dictated.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required upon hire or transfer to the department. Degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Accounting, preferred. Courses in hospital, hospitality or institutional management are preferred.

Training and Experience: Experience in functions to be supervised. Experience in supervision or directing activities. Verbal ability to communicate with department, hospital, and medical staff. Clerical, computer skills, to complete written records and exchange preferred.

Working Conditions

Extensive walking, stooping, and standing for long hours. Capable of performing any job or work assigned to department employees. Visual ability to detect cleanliness. Possible exposure to hazardous chemicals. Possible exposure to combustible chemicals. Possible exposure to infectious diseases.
