Housekeeping Rooms Inspector
Responsibilities
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards
- Verify that housekeeping staff follow proper cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and brand policies
- Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly
- Ensure rooms are fully stocked with required amenities and supplies
- Conduct daily quality checks and maintain inspection records or reports
- Provide feedback, coaching, and on-the-job training to housekeeping team members
- Maintain staff performance and assist with scheduling or task assignments as needed
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Coordinate with front desk and maintenance teams to prioritize room readiness
- Handle guest requests or concerns related to room cleanliness in a professional manner
- Support inventory control for linens, supplies, and equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience with a strong focus on guest satisfaction
- Exceptional ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent skills for engaging with guests and collaborating with team members seamlessly
