Housekeeping - Room Attendant

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is enjoyable
• Work as a team to achieve hotel/housekeeping cleanliness goals
• Keep work cart organized and stocked with necessary supplies
• Utilize equipment and guest amenities appropriately
• Thoroughly clean assigned guest areas, including linens and towels
• Inspect and change linens and towels daily according to the Green Program
• Adhere to safety standards and report any hazards immediately
• Respect guests' belongings and maintain equipment in good condition
• Arrive on time and follow posted schedules to maintain accurate time records
• Stay alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and colleagues
• Perform other related duties as requested by Floor Supervisor

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience is desirable
• Neat and pleasant personality
• Good time management skills
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
• Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs

Pay

$15.00 per hour

Schedule

Hours vary based on shift and property needs. Shifts typically run from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, or 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Skills

Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong interpersonal skills are essential for this role. Proficiency with cleaning equipment and a positive attitude are also crucial.
