Maintained Duties
- Replacing linens on beds
- Emptying wastebaskets
- Replenishing guest room supplies
- Returning items left by guests to the Housekeeping department
- Fulfilling guest’s requests promptly
- Aiding with special projects or requests given by Housekeeping Management
- Anticipating guests’ needs, responding promptly, and acknowledging all guests, regardless of time of day
- Maintaining positive guest relations at all times
- Being familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
- Using correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- A high school diploma
- Previous housekeeping/hotel experience preferred
- Ability to work independently on recurring projects
- Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in performing job functions
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Minimal supervision needed to perform job functions
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
