Housekeeping Lead (SEASONAL) - Crystal Mountain Hotel

Responsibilities

• Inspects all assigned rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.
• Provides efficient and objective feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality within the housekeeping department.
• Ensures that all associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniform including nametag and designated PPE.
• Trains associates on safety standards and enforces those standards on a consistent basis.
• Identifies associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrains them appropriately.
• Completes accident investigations and takes steps to prevent future accidents.
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning.
• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Performs opening and closing shift duties.
• Notifies maintenance department of maintenance repairs necessary.
• Monitors cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Housekeeping leadership experience preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Skills

• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members.

Pay

$19-$22.80 per hour.
