About the Role
The Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor plays a key role in providing residents, staff, and the public with a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment by planning, organizing, and directing housekeeping and laundry staff operations in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate housekeeping and laundry staff to follow proper safety and environmental regulations.
- Monitor, teach, mentor, and supervise housekeeping and laundry aides on a daily basis.
- Foster teamwork to achieve the common goal of excellent care for residents.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence) to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
Requirements
- One year of experience in an institutional housekeeping department.
- Supervisory or management experience preferred.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Physical Abilities: Stamina, strength, and endurance to provide cleaning and laundry services.
