Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant

Duties

• dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, families, fellow employees and visitors
• working on feet 7-8 hours a day
• lifting heavy objects
• cleaning patient bathrooms
• emptying garbage cans
• cleaning patient rooms, hallways, walls, furniture and equipment
• following established cleaning schedules
• loading washers
• collecting dirty laundry
• folding and storing laundry
• operating washing machines & dryers according to manufacturer's and center's policy
• performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• ability to read and understand Standard English
• flexibility, ability to be a team player, and a positive attitude

Schedule

Shifts are available from 7am-3pm or 3pm-8pm, every other weekend.
