Housekeeping Houseperson (PM Shift)

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining public spaces
• Stocking housekeeping supplies
• Delivering housekeeping related items to guest rooms
• Assisting and responding to requests in a positive and timely manner
• Ensuring guest satisfaction
• Working as a team player and contributing to other departments
• Following company guest service recovery program
• Ensuring a clean and safe work area
• Reporting maintenance needs and service issues
• Understanding and using chemicals safely
• Following company procedures for incidents
• Knowing hotel emergency procedures
• Producing required volume of work
• Adhering to attendance, grooming, and appearance standards
• Attending department and hotel meetings
• Using equipment and supplies properly

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Housekeeping/laundry experience preferred
• Attention to detail and customer focus
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to move throughout the hotel for extended periods
