Housekeeping Houseperson- Full-Time- Renaissance Allentown

About the role

The Housekeeping Houseperson supports the Housekeeping Department by maintaining cleanliness throughout the hotel, assisting room attendants, and ensuring guest areas are clean, organized, and welcoming. This position plays an important role in maintaining hotel cleanliness standards and providing a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of hotel hallways, stairwells, elevators, and public areas.
• Clean and maintain lobby areas, public restrooms, and common spaces.
• Assist room attendants by delivering clean linens, towels, and guest supplies.
• Collect and remove soiled linens and trash from guest floors.
• Stock and organize housekeeping closets and supply areas.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust, and perform general cleaning duties.
• Deliver rollaway beds, cribs, and other guest‑requested items.
• Assist with moving furniture and equipment as needed.
• Report maintenance issues and safety concerns to management.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and assist the housekeeping team as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
