Job Summary

The housekeeper partners with Infection Prevention and other areas in the hospital to maintain a sanitary and safe environment for patients and staff. A housekeeper will utilize the appropriate cleaning products and processes to reduce the spread of disease(s).

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas, including but not limited to patient rooms, operating rooms, emergency department, clinical areas, public areas, and office areas.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, twisting, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling carts, and mopping throughout the shift.
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the hospital’s Core Values and support the strategic plan, goals, and Performance Improvement Process.

Qualifications

• Required: Customer service experience
• Required: Regular and consistent attendance
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
