Housekeeping GRA (Full-Time) - Gold Strike

About the Role

As a Guest Room Attendant, your primary responsibility is to clean and service guestrooms at Gold Strike Casino.

Responsibilities

• Clean guestrooms, including making beds, vacuuming, emptying trash, and wiping down or dusting all surfaces.
• Replenish guest amenities and information folders as needed.
• Clean bathrooms by scrubbing basins, bathtubs, shower walls and doors, toilets, and tile floors using damp rags and proper chemicals.
• Replenish bathroom amenities such as soaps and tissues.
• Place clean bathmats on tubs and/or shower doors and clean towels on towel racks.
• Report unusual room conditions or rooms in need of repair.
• Complete all duties in accordance with the room classification checklist.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) months of related experience in housekeeping or exposure to the hospitality industry.
• Experience in a similar resort setting.

Working Conditions

• Ability to withstand prolonged walking, standing, bending, and kneeling, and lift items.
• Ability to work indoors and be exposed to environmental factors such as noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
• Position may require strenuous physical activities and exposure to pipe, cigar, and/or cigarette smoking.
• Flexible schedule may be required, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
