Housekeeping/EVS Tech - Green

About the Role

This is a full-time position located at our Scripps Green Campus in the Torrey Pines area. The housekeeping team performs job functions to support environmental care, including:

• Patient care area cleaning
• Non-patient care area cleaning
• Linen service
• Waste removal
• Sharps container removal
• Meeting/event set-up and breakdown
• Infection control and sanitation

These tasks are performed utilizing technical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills under the guidance and support of a supervisor. The role follows established policies and practices to ensure compliance with the Joint Commission, Title XXII, and other applicable regulatory requirements. The work style reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization.

Requirements

• Ability to speak, read, and write English

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of housekeeping experience in health care or hospitality
• Extensive customer service experience
• A desire to provide the highest quality of service

Schedule

Must be available to work a varied shift including 11:00 AM–7:30 PM and a varied schedule including weekends.

Pay

Position pay range: $25.00–$29.29/hour.
