Housekeeping/EVS Tech - Days - La Jolla

About the role

Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla seeks a full-time Housekeeping Team Member to support environmental care. The position involves patient care area cleaning, non-patient care area cleaning, linen service, waste removal, sharps container removal, meeting/event set-up/breakdown, and infection control/sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Perform job functions to support environmental care
• Follow established policies and practices to ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Title XXII, and other applicable regulatory requirements
• Display and practice a work style that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of Scripps Health

Requirements

• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• 6 months Housekeeping experience in Health Care or Hospitality
• Extensive customer service experience
• A desire to provide the highest quality of service
