Position Summary
The EVS Attendant I is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards throughout assigned areas of the property. This position performs routine cleaning, restroom maintenance, supply stocking, and general environmental services duties to ensure assigned areas remain clean, orderly, and maintained according to established standards.
Responsibilities
- Practice, support, and maintain the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha.
- Vacuum, dust, clean, and polish surfaces throughout assigned areas.
- Keep work areas, hallways, staircases, and floor landings clean and tidy.
- Clean and maintain restrooms and floors, including vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping.
- Stock and sort supplies.
- Perform general cleaning in assigned work areas, including dusting, polishing, shining, and glass care.
- Clean administrative offices and conference rooms.
- Clean and restock restrooms on both a scheduled and as-needed basis.
- Clean stains and spills on flooring and carpeting when they occur.
- Safely deliver all lost and found articles to the designated area.
- Ensure cleanliness meets established 5-star requirements.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and appropriate applications.
- Ability to obtain OSHA 10 Certification.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred:
- Previous related experience in a resort casino environment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform cleaning and environmental services duties throughout assigned areas of the property.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining established cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality and entertainment environment.
- Regular movement throughout assigned work areas, including hallways, staircases, floor landings, offices, conference rooms, and restrooms.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks involving vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, polishing, glass care, and restroom maintenance.
Schedule
Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality and entertainment industry, team members must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
