Housekeeping/Custodial Staff-Part Time

Schedule and Compensation

Part-time (12-15hrs per week). Hours: Weekdays 3:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. Pay rate: $16.94 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, offices, program areas, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean surfaces throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and complete exterior trash pickup.
• Clean entrances, walkways, parking areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies.
• Maintain clean and organized custodial storage areas.
• Follow established cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Identify and report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Dependable and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail.
• Ability to interact professionally with YMCA members, guests, and employees.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required safety certifications and training.
