Housekeeping/ Custodial Associate- PT

About the role

As a Housekeeping/Custodial Associate, you will ensure the cleanliness of the building, including restrooms, selling floor, office spaces, and other common areas.

Responsibilities

• Present a courteous and professional demeanor to customers and coworkers
• Dust the selling floor (both high and low)
• Maintain carpets and tile floors using commercial-grade equipment
• Sweep, collect trash, and recycle material
• Pick up trash from registers and offices
• Dust mop, wet mop floors, and vacuum rugs
• Wipe down cafeteria tables, empty trash cans, dry/wet mop floors
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, restock supplies, and empty trash cans

Requirements

• 1-2 years of housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
• Resourceful self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays

Physical Requirements

• Moderate lifting (up to 35 lbs.)
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for required periods of time
• Ability to reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers to handle objects and operate tools/controls
