About the role
Full-time role (40-hour working week: 8 hours per day, 5 days a week with 2 days off).
Responsibilities
- Assist manager and supervisors in inspecting guest rooms, public areas, etc. after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
- Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
- Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities.
- Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
- Document issues with discrepant rooms for the Front Desk.
- Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/workboards under supervisor guidance.
- Communicate issues to the next shift and complete required paperwork.
- Use company tools such as GXP and Opera for department operations.
- Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Support all co-workers, treating them with dignity and respect, and work toward common goals.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the Housekeeping Manager.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and brand guidelines.
Requirements
- Legal right to work in Italy with a valid work permit for a full-time role (40 hours/week).
- At least intermediate proficiency in Italian and English.
- Previous housekeeping supervisory experience is a plus.
- Understanding of rooms operations and luxury hospitality.
- Technical knowledge of Opera is ideal.
- Reliability, motivation, and strong attention to detail.
- Passion for luxury housekeeping standards and procedures.
