Responsibilities
- Records and collects all keys and papers held within the Housekeeping Office.
- Ensures the sorting of all daily activity reports in the Housekeeping Office.
- Protects the privacy and security of guests and co-workers.
- Answers phone calls promptly, following proper telephone etiquette and standards.
- Records all incoming calls, ensures messages are disseminated, and follows up accordingly.
- Handles all Lost & Found issues—receiving, recording, storage, claiming, and clearing.
- Updates and maintains all housekeeping files.
- Updates and prints the room discrepancy report from the Opera system in the morning and afternoon, submitting copies to Accounts and Front Office.
- Arranges baby-sitting for guests and prepares attendance sheets for monthly payroll.
- Maintains cleanliness and tidiness of the Housekeeping Office.
- Clears outdated reports monthly based on hotel record-keeping standards.
- Supports co-workers with dignity and respect.
- Protects company tools, equipment, and assets in accordance with policies.
- Ensures uniform, nametag, and personal appearance meet professional and hygienic standards.
- Participates in environmental sustainability efforts, including waste reduction, chemical safety, and resource conservation.
- Carries out responsibilities related to quality management systems at the facility.
- Performs additional duties assigned by managers or hotel management.
Requirements
- Education: At least a high school or vocational diploma.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in a related field.
- Foreign Language: Not required.
- Courses and Training: Prior attendance in relevant courses or seminars is a plus.
- Computer Literacy: Not required.
