Hotel Sylvia is a charming, literary-themed hotel located in the heart of Newport, OR. We pride ourselves on providing a unique and welcoming experience for our guests, blending comfort with a love for literature and local culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas according to Hotel Sylvia’s standards.
• Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Ensure all rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and amenities.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to manage laundry tasks efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction.

Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility with scheduling, including weekend shifts.

Pay

Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
