Housekeeping Associate

About the Role

As a Housekeeping Associate at Timpanogos Regional Hospital, you will make a difference in many lives with a kind word and friendly smile while serving our patients. You will be part of a unified, caring team where everyone contributes to bettering our community.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, and other areas by providing housekeeping services.
• Ensure optimum sanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital.
• Utilize aseptic techniques by performing specialized cleaning processes using a variety of cleaning devices.
• Follow a daily cleaning schedule according to area needs.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
• Ensure customer quality expectations are met by providing courteous and caring service to all customers.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
