What You Will Do
Responsibilities often include using industrial cleaning equipment (buffers, vacuums), dusting shelves, and adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe space for customers and staff.
Housekeeping Associate
Maintains a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment by cleaning floors, sanitizing restrooms, managing waste, and restocking supplies.
Responsibilities
- Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors (including industrial scrubbing) to remove dirt and debris.
- Restroom Sanitation: Thoroughly disinfect toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures, and replenish supplies like soap and paper towels.
- Surface Cleaning: Dust shelves, displays, counters, and fixtures to maintain a tidy appearance.
- Waste Management: Empty all trash cans and recycling bins, replacing liners and ensuring disposal in designated areas.
- Safety and Maintenance: Clean up spills immediately, report maintenance issues to management, and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
- Specialized Cleaning: Wash windows, glass doors, and clean breakrooms or staff lounges.
Requirements
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring all areas meet hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of Supplies: Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.
- Time Management: Ability to work efficiently, often independently or after hours.
