Responsibilities
- Pick up linens and laundry from assigned areas
- Wash, dry, fold and deliver clean linens / laundry to residents rooms and departments
- Follow washing / drying instructions according to the instructions
- Maintain and clean the laundry area(s)
- Follow cleaning schedules in accordance with Standard Precautions, hazardous waste handling, and cleaning agent use policies and procedures
- Clean assigned areas, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, trash cans, furnishings and fixtures such as furniture, floors, walls, sills, closets and doors, according to established housekeeping procedures
- Empty wastebaskets in bathrooms, resident rooms and common areas as directed, replacing with a clean plastic bag and one extra bag at the bottom of the wastebasket
- Clean general common areas, dining spaces, offices and employee areas according to the assignment schedule
- Assist with other housekeeping responsibilities as needed

- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Prior housekeeping or laundry experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols
Schedule and Compensation
- Employment type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Day Shift (7:30am - 4:00pm)
- Weekends: Every other weekend rotation
- On-Call: None
- Pay Rate: $14.00 / hour
