Housekeeping Aide - Lead

Job Overview Fairview is looking to hire a Lead Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE, benefit-eligible position, working 80 hours every two weeks. The position works the overnight shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. and includes an every-other-weekend commitment. Schedule Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and FridayWeek 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday This is a Lead position and requires additional leadership and housekeeping experience. The ideal candidate will have: Strong leadership and team management abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standardsAbility to work effectively under pressure, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time efficientlyFamiliarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and proper cleaning proceduresBasic computer skills to support discharge coordination and other department responsibilitiesPrevious housekeeping or hospitality experience, with 2+ years preferred This position is represented by SEIU Local 113 Perform cleaning duties as assigned to keep the facility orderly, attractive, clean, and sanitary.
