Responsibilities

• Cleaning resident rooms and common areas
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety in assigned areas
• Maintaining housekeeping equipment in proper working condition
• Removing trash and soiled linens (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds)
• Learning and operating commercial laundry equipment
• Working collaboratively with other housekeeping team members
• Demonstrating a strong work ethic with attention to quality and customer service
• Maintaining a positive, caring attitude and acting in the best interest of patients
• Reporting any areas in need of repair to a supervisor

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in cleaning with strong attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with the ability to follow a schedule
• Flexible availability; may be required to work varied schedules
• Healthcare or commercial laundry experience: preferred
• Healthcare or commercial housekeeping experience: preferred
