Housekeeping Aide

What You'll Do

• Clean (dust, dry/wet mop, sanitize, scrub) assigned rooms, bathrooms and common areas daily according to facility procedures
• Clean walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and wax floors according to department procedures and cleaning schedules
• Dispose of trash and waste
• Monitor workplace for safety and fire hazards and correct or report potential problems
• Communicate with supervisor throughout shift and as needed

Qualifications/Work Experience

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Prior experience in a custodian, janitor, or similar role
• Minimum of one year’s experience performing above listed duties
• Must be able to perform duties with a minimum of supervision
• This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing and pulling throughout the day
