Housekeeping Aide
About the Role
MemorialCare, a nonprofit integrated health system, is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to join our team in Laguna Hills. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, sanitized, and disinfected environment within the hospital, contributing to our commitment to providing high-quality healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfection functions in assigned areas following established schedules and procedures.
- Ensure a safe work environment by reporting any unsafe conditions to management.
- Adhere to departmental cleaning and safety standards.
- Safely and competently utilize departmental-specific equipment, ensuring it is in good operating order.
- Assist in other housekeeping duties as prescribed by the department manager, supervisor, and/or lead person.
- Responsible for the materials and equipment assigned for daily duties.
Qualifications
- High school Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Basic computer skills, including email and computer-based course completion.
- Strong employee engagement and ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Preferred Experience
- Two years of previous hospital and/or hospitality experience.
Pay
$23.00/hr - $28.64/hr. Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available, including shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Evenings, Full Time. Ability to be at work and on time, following company policies and procedures.
