About the role
Join our team at Fairport Rehab & Nursing Center, where we provide a personalized level of care to area seniors through services and communities across our continuum of care. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our housekeeping team at Fairport Rehab & Nursing Center, located in Fairport, New York. As a Housekeeping Aide you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of housekeeping duties, including cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Restock linens, toiletries, and supplies as needed
- Assist with laundry and operate laundry equipment
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of storerooms and supply closets
- Respond to resident requests for housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient operation
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Pay
$16.25 per hour
Schedule
- Available Shifts: Day (7:00am – 3:00pm)
- Schedule Options: Full‑Time (37.5 hours per week)
- Weekend Availability: Every other weekend
