About the role
Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeping Aide to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, families, and staff. Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, hallways, stairways, and elevators.
- Sanitize and polish fixtures, furnishings, mirrors, windows, and surfaces.
- Perform floor care including sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, and disinfecting.
- Vacuum, shampoo, deodorize, and disinfect carpets as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness standards while following safety procedures.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Follow assigned cleaning schedules and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and respectful approach when interacting with residents and families.
- Professional, dependable, and reliable work ethic.
