About the Role

Freedom Behavioral Hospital is an 82-bed acute care facility providing specialized care for adults with mental health and behavioral health needs. We are hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for our facilities in Monroe and West Monroe, with higher pay for high performers.

The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within the hospital, adhering to infection control practices, and supporting facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform generalized cleaning and disinfecting of the hospital, including terminal cleaning and infection control practices.
• Maintain a safe environment by securing all cleaning supplies at all times.
• Follow safe practices when working around patients in a controlled environment.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies throughout the facility.
• Perform a variety of environmental services duties to keep the facility neat, orderly, and sanitary.
• Pick up patient meals (breakfast, lunch, and supper) during weekend shifts.

Work Environment

• Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals used for cleaning, dust, mist, and steam generated during housekeeping tasks.
• Moderate to high noise levels in the work environment.
• This is a smoke-free workplace.

Requirements

• High School Graduate (required).
• Ability to work weekends.
• Clear driving record.
