Housekeeper - Year Round (Grouse Mountain Lodge)

This is a year-round, full time role featuring full benefits!

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing of guest rooms including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, restocking toiletries & towels, and cleaning kitchen spaces (if applicable)
• Cleaning and sanitizing public guest areas (including bathrooms and lobby spaces) in hotels, lodges and cabins
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking common employee living spaces, bathrooms, and recreation areas
• Stocking linen and removing used linens/towels/trash
• Assisting with amenity requests from guests
• Assisting with guest needs and assisting teammates as needed

Requirements

• Work ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required – we are happy to train!
• A willingness and ability to work solo and also as part of a team
• A commitment to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
• An organized eye for detail
• A kind attitude towards others
• A good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to work outside, use stairs, and carry/push heavy loads and carts
• Able to keep records of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicate details to supervisor

Benefits

The starting wage for this role is $17.00/hour.

Schedule

The schedule may include afternoon/evening shifts when scheduled for a shift focused on public guest areas.
