Responsibilities
- Oversight of daily housekeeping operations
- Ensuring all areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet established standards
- Managing and training housekeeping staff
- Providing guidance on cleaning techniques and safety protocols
- Developing cleaning schedules and assigning tasks
- Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Implementing inventory control measures for cleaning supplies and equipment
- Addressing guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping services
- Collaborating with other departments for special requests or events
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial services
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with custodial practices and safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity
- Valid driver’s license
