About the Role
We are seeking a Housekeeper Supervisor to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of resident apartments, common areas, offices, and laundry operations at Patriots Landing. This role involves supervising departmental staff, including hiring, training, evaluating, and termination, while upholding our commitment to service excellence and person-centered care. You will work in a supportive, diverse culture that values independence, happiness, privacy, respect, and dignity for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Clean assigned resident apartments, common areas, and offices of the community.
- Create and maintain apartment and common area cleaning schedules, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Collect and clean resident soiled linen, towels, and personal laundry weekly, ensuring all personal items are labeled.
- Identify specific cleaning or laundry needs and direct staff to complete tasks.
- Provide additional cleaning/sanitizing of incontinent resident apartments as directed.
- Assist and supervise all laundry operations.
- Order, receive, and control housekeeping supplies, managing the departmental budget within financial guidelines.
- Maintain a professional and caring approach when interacting with residents, families, staff, visitors, vendors, and the public.
- Participate in the Manager on Duty Program and attend required meetings.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Executive Director, General Manager, or Manager on Duty.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalency.
- Six months of experience in housekeeping and staff supervision preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Dependable with the ability to make mature judgments.
- Knowledge of safety and safe sanitation practices.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and work on your feet for eight hours a day, five days a week.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Capability to meet all state or regulatory agency requirements.

Pay
$20–$23 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Full-time, with varying hours.
