About the role

Welcome to St. Mary Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare! Our 120-bed facility provides a warm and caring environment for short-term rehab patients and long-term residents. Our team of seasoned staff work together to offer excellent service and care to each resident. As a housekeeper, you are responsible for carrying out your assigned duties. Maintaining functional relationships with residents and employees in other departments will be key to your work assignments. We are seeking housekeepers to join our team. This is a union position.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of walls, lights, vents, windows, etc.
• Ensure all work complies with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility, as directed by the Administrator and/or Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Maintain the upkeep and cleanliness of patient rooms, hallways, and common areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in housekeeping within a rehabilitation and/or long-term care facility preferred; willing to train appropriate candidates.
