Housekeeper - Santa Fe

Pay Range: $16.33 – $23.15
About the role
Presbyterian is hiring a skilled Housekeeper to clean and service hospital areas, ensuring the safety, health, and morale of patients, visitors, and employees. This role helps provide a clean, attractive, and safe environment to support patient recovery.
Responsibilities
- Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Dusts furniture, woodwork, and equipment.
- Mops floors and polishes/cleans fixtures in all areas as needed.
- Wet mops rooms, halls, stairways, and public areas.
- Operates housekeeping mechanical equipment.
- Moves furniture pertaining to cleaning procedures.
- Buffs, strips, waxes, and polishes floors.
- Removes waste and soiled linens from work area according to proper procedure.
- Performs cleaning procedures of patient rooms and prepares room for next occupant; follows isolation procedures in isolation rooms.
- Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings.
Requirements
- Less than high school education.
- Less than one year of experience in housekeeping.
