About the role
Common Oaks Lodging is hiring Housekeepers who will be responsible for:
- Cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner, following procedures and hotel standards.
- Keeping an organized linen cart that is neat, well stocked and organized.
- Reporting any areas within guest rooms that need attention, such as fixtures, door locks, televisions, HVAC, etc.
- Maintaining security of your equipment, key and supplies issued to you.
- Reporting lost and found articles to your supervisor.
- Responding to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner.
Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and organized environment in guest rooms.
Ensure all guest amenities are functioning properly.
Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
Handle guest requests courteously and promptly.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Basic computer skills.
Qualifications
Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred.
Positive attitude and ability to work independently.
