About the role

This position is responsible for cleaning guestrooms to B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group quality standards. You will assist guests by providing friendly, courteous, and professional service while adhering to health regulations and maintaining the company’s high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Cleanliness: Clean and ensure necessary amenities and supplies are stocked in guest rooms. Maintain cleanliness of carts, linens, rooms, and equipment to ensure everything is in working order.
  • Guest Service: Ensure guest satisfaction through high-quality housekeeping service. Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally while collaborating with other departments to meet guest and operational needs. Follow Best Western’s guest service recovery program.
  • Safety/Risk Management: Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with Best Western’s, brand, local, state, and federal regulations. Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report any issues. Safely use chemicals and follow all procedures for guest and team member incidents. Be knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures.
  • Self Management: Plan, organize, and prioritize work duties to meet productivity standards. Adhere to attendance policies, grooming and appearance standards, and general work rules. Attend required meetings and ensure proper use of equipment and supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Housekeeping or laundry experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail, customer-focused mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
  • Significant bending required.

Pay

The base pay for this position ranges from $15 to $17 per hour. The actual offer is determined by variables such as qualifications, relevant experience, skills, education, and certifications. Base pay is one component of the total compensation package, which also includes healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and bonus plans.
