Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and service guestrooms, bathrooms, balconies, and assigned guest areas according to established luxury and brand standards.
- Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including stocking housekeeping carts with linens, guest supplies, cleaning products, and operational supplies.
- Change bed linens, replenish towels and guest amenities, and ensure all room features are properly arranged and presentation-ready.
- Remove trash, dirty linens, and used guest items from guestrooms, service areas, and hallways.
- Vacuum, dust, sanitize, and clean all assigned areas to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests.
- Ensure all hallways, housekeeping closets, service areas, and public spaces remain clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout the shift.
- Restock housekeeping carts, replenish cleaning supplies and chemical bottles, and prepare carts for the next day’s operation.
- Inspect guestrooms for maintenance concerns, damage, missing items, or safety hazards and report issues promptly to Housekeeping leadership.
- Handle Lost & Found items in accordance with hotel procedures and confidentiality standards.
- Respond to guest requests and special service needs promptly and professionally.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards while ensuring attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, chemical handling, and operational procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to grooming and uniform standards at all times.
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and departmental lineups.
- Support additional housekeeping and public area cleaning responsibilities as operational needs require.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Must be able to stand during entire shift.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
