Housekeeper – Part-Time Year-round

Essential Duties

• Clean and turnover dorm rooms on the Sitka Fine Arts Campus including making beds, removing soiled linens, restocking linens, cleaning surfaces in rooms, vacuuming, and removing trash.
• Ensure rooms meet SFAC standards with a final walkaround.
• Laundry. Restock and organize linen closets. Notify maintenance department of needed maintenance or repairs.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and other common areas.
• Clean, mop, wash, buff and vacuum floors.
• Clean and polish fixtures.
• Remove recycling materials.
• Clean windows.
• Dust and vacuum furniture.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to provide courteous service to all campus users.
• Experience in custodial work.

Competencies

• Good time management.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and/or guests.
