Housekeeper - Part Time - Northfield

Hourly, non-exempt role in Environmental Services with no travel or supervisory responsibilities.

Schedule

• Part Time
• 9 am – 2 pm
• 10 hours per pay period
• Every other weekend

Pay

$17.50 – $19.50/hour, based on location, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and comfortable living spaces by ensuring cleanliness in resident rooms, common areas, and other support spaces
• Coordinate housekeeping tasks with the housekeeping team
• Support resident move-ins and move-outs
• Adhere to infection control procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
• Respect residents’ time, personal space, and belongings, recognizing your role as a guest in their home
• Assist in resident evacuations during emergencies
• Document in accordance with regulations and established policies and procedures
• Attend in-service training and carry out special projects as identified

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or environmental services preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment
• Proficient in English to ensure effective communication with residents, team members, and family
• Understanding of safety and infection control procedures
• Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting, bending, standing, and moving equipment
• Ability to pass state-mandated background check
