HOUSEKEEPER (PART TIME)

About the role

Coreworks is hiring part time HOUSEKEEPER positions at the Des Moines Wellness Center located at 5820 Winwood Drive, Johnston, IA 50131. The schedule is part time, working Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Mondays through Fridays from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm or 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Perks include training opportunities and a fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service by attending to guests' needs.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes up beds and changes linens as required.
• Realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
• Responds to guest queries and requests.
• Responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
• Contributes to team efforts; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
