Housekeeper - Lincoln

About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Housekeeper to join a team based in Lincoln on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of daily cleaning tasks, ensuring all work is completed on time and in line with Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines.
• Perform both planned and occasional duties such as cleaning rooms and communal areas, changing curtains, cleaning beds, and shampooing carpets.
• Use cleaning equipment safely, including powered equipment where required, and always wear the appropriate protective equipment provided.
• Regularly interact with occupants, responding to questions or requests in a friendly and helpful manner, demonstrating a positive, "can-do" attitude.

Requirements

• A positive and proactive approach, with the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and support colleagues when needed.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is essential or relevant transferable skills.
• Understanding of the importance of good customer service, with experience dealing with customers an advantage.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to undertake training and develop within the role.
