Job Summary
Provides supervisory support to the facilities leadership team for all aspects of the day‑to‑day operation of the EVS department at Rosie’s Gaming Emporium – Emporia.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support and train EVS Attendants in various tasks, ensuring results meet or exceed company expectations.
- Work with the Facilities Supervisor to create tasks and checklists.
- Hold department pre‑shift briefings and delegate job assignments under the guidance of the Facilities Manager.
- Ensure operations are OSHA and Hazcom compliant, including maintenance of departmental MSD sheets.
- Ensure all equipment and chemicals are safely labeled, stored, and that team members are fully educated on use and hazards.
- Receive equipment and supplies and coordinate distribution and organized storage.
- Maintain labeled, orderly storage areas.
- Monitor equipment condition and ensure proper maintenance.
- Resolve problems within scope of authority and recommend actions for issues beyond scope to the supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a high‑volume hospitality environment.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. Six months to one year of experience in a related field preferred; other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
The team member will be required to stand and walk for the duration of the shift and may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent activities include standing, walking, using hands to reach, handle, or feel objects, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and talking or hearing. Work may include long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. Noise levels are usually moderate to loud, and the environment may vary with crowds, flashing lights, and smoke depending on station and guest volume.
Pay
$16.00 per hour.
Schedule
Shift: 10 PM – 6 AM, Wednesday through Sunday.
