Housekeeper Lead

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and support housekeeping staff during daily operations
• Train and mentor new employees on cleaning procedures and safety protocols
• Conduct routine inspections of patient rooms, offices, common areas, and restrooms
• Ensure compliance with infection control safety and hospital cleanliness standards
• Assist with staff scheduling and daily assignments
• Monitor inventory levels and request housekeeping supplies as needed
• Respond to urgent cleaning requests and special projects
• Maintain accurate records and communicate departmental needs to management
• Promote teamwork and provide excellent customer service

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience required
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, infection control, and safety procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively and lead a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
