In this important dual-role position, you will help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents by providing high-quality laundry and housekeeping services. Through your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, you will directly support resident dignity, infection prevention, safety, and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities Laundry Services Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linensEnsure resident personal items are handled carefully to prevent loss or damageMaintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas and equipmentMonitor linen and laundry inventory and replenish supplies as neededFollow all infection control procedures and linen handling protocols Housekeeping Services Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and hallwaysPerform routine housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and trash removalMaintain cleanliness of high-touch surfaces to support infection preventionRestock cleaning and resident-care supplies as neededComplete assigned cleaning tasks according to departmental schedules and standards General Responsibilities Safely operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals according to safety guidelinesReport maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and supply needs promptlyInteract with residents, families, and team members in a courteous and professional mannerFollow all facility policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirementsSupport coworkers and assist with additional housekeeping or laundry duties when needed Qualifications Previous housekeeping, laundry, environmental services, or healthcare experience preferredKnowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and infection control standardsStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environmentAbility to work independently and efficientlyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsTeam-oriented mindset with a positive attitudeDependable, punctual, and reliableAbility to lift, bend, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shiftCommitment to providing a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents Benefits Competitive payHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid Time Off (PTO)Care Cash ProgramEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramSupportive and collaborative workplace culture Grow With Us At Heritage Grove Estates, we are committed to helping our employees succeed.
