About the role
Greystar is a leading real estate platform that offers property management, investment management, development, and construction services in institutional-quality rental housing. Based in St. Augustine, Florida, the Housekeeper position is part of a broader team managing over one million units globally.
Responsibilities
- Cleans the leasing office, clubhouse and common-area restrooms, the model(s), amenities and vacant apartment homes on a daily basis or as directed by the appropriate supervisor.
- Ensures all vacant apartment homes and targeted show units are freshened throughout the day to maintain market-ready appeal.
- Affords assistance in the make-ready process by performing additional duties requested by Service Manager, Community Manager and/or Assistant Manager.
- Informs appropriate supervisor of any observed hazard or potentially dangerous situation to residents, team members, guests, and others.
- Maintains an appropriate inventory of cleaning supplies, and informs the appropriate supervisor when a re-order is necessary.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
- Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
- Ability to work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet).
- Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
- Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties as needed, attend training classes, business meetings, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, which includes taking “call” during evenings, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in housekeeping or related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, team members, and supervisors.
Skills
- Proficient in using cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation within the posted range, including base salary and potential participation in bonus programs, is determined by various factors such as business requirements, prior experience, current skills, and geographical location.
