About the role
Join our veterinary hospital as a Hospital Housekeeper and become an essential part of creating a welcoming, healthy environment for pets and their families!
This vital role involves maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility, directly contributing to the quality of care we provide and the confidence our clients place in us.
Responsibilities
- Maintain immaculate exam rooms, treatment areas, kennels, and public spaces through regular cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing.
- Help prevent disease transmission by following proper cleaning protocols and ensuring all areas are properly disinfected.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and consumables, ensuring we're always stocked with the materials needed to maintain our high standards of cleanliness.
- Identify and report maintenance issues before they become problems, helping to maintain the functionality and appearance of our facility.
- Work collaboratively with our medical team to prepare spaces between appointments, reset rooms after procedures, and maintain a smooth flow throughout the hospital's daily operations.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and consistency.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout your shift.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation procedures.
- Comfort working in an environment with felines.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Reliability and dependability in maintaining regular attendance.
- Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Facility cleaning/sanitizing experience.
- Comfort around felines is required.

Pay
